The artists João Gil (Lisbon, 1989) and Violette Maillard (Bourg la Reine, 1984) present, this Saturday, the work process they developed in residence over the last three weeks.

The two artists have been in residence in the Azores since May 18, accompanied physically and digitally by the two curators, Carine Dolek and Virgílio Ferreira, to develop photographic and videographic projects around the concept of ‘oasis’ as a psychogeographic territory of regeneration and fragile ecosystem in our planet in crisis.
The A4 programme is organized and produced by Ci.CLO and the collective Fetart, as part of Temporada Cruzada Portugal-França 2022, and in partnership with Arquipélago — Centro de Artes Contemporâneas.
