Artists and curators participated in the 1st Sustentar workshop, guided by invited specialists. The aim of the workshop was to instigate, expand, open different perspectives — scientific, conceptual, ethical, etc. — about the development of the projects.
- June 25th - Álvaro Domingues, geographer and researcher at the Center for Architecture and Urbanism Studies at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto, shared a perspective on the transformation processes of Portuguese territory and on the idea of a double loss of the city and the countryside.
- June 26th - Gil Penha-Lopes, biologist and researcher at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, shared a diversity of perspectives, based on frameworks, on Cultures and Regenerative Development and systemic thinking, expanding the understanding of crises as opportunities to act.
- June 27th - Jayne Dyer, Australian artist, art critic and academic that lives and works between Lisbon, Porto and Sidney, trabalha entre Lisboa e Sidney, shared a vision about what role can the visual arts play to contribute to building and promoting ecological behaviours.
